Kane County Recovery Court

The Kane County Recovery Court commenced in January 2013. The Recovery Court is comprised of team members from the Kane County Attorney’s Office, Kane County Public Defender’s Office, the 6th District Court, Local Drug Treatment Providers, and the Kane County Sheriff’s Office.

Mission Statement:
The Kane County Recovery Court is committed to increasing public safety and enhancing participant and community well-being by supporting the sobriety, rehabilitation from criminal activity, and long term recovery efforts of its drug and alcohol dependent participants. This is accomplished through a comprehensive multi-disciplinary approach where the court, prosecution, defense counsel, probation and treatment team work together to provide improved outcomes.
